It's common knowledge that morning sickness is one of the first signs of pregnancy. But in reality most women will know they are pregnant before they start to feel any nausea. Early signs of pregnancy, sometimes before you've even missed a period, include fatigue, breast tenderness and a metallic taste in the mouth.
Anecdotal signs and symptoms of pregnancy can be interesting and are usually widely reported, but you may not notice any of these things yourself when you become pregnant. Frequently needing to urinate, a bloated feeling and an increased sensitivity to odors are all signs of pregnancy. But some women claim to just know. There's a lot to be said for intuition and some women do say that they knew they were pregnant because they simply felt pregnant.
Whether you experience all or none of these signs of pregnancy, there is only one way to know you are pregnant for sure and that's to take a pregnancy test.
