Leg cramps usually occur during the night, and can be a rude awakening to the much needed slumber, especially in the third trimester!

When a leg cramp strikes, stretch the cramped area, while gently massaging. If that does not help, try a warm compress. Also, walking does wonders for leg cramps. Take a few strides, to help work the cramp out.
